Creating Sponsored Content

Sponsored Content was one of the most important revenue streams for WBRC Magic City Weekend. As Executive Producer I was responsible for coordinating with the WBRC Sales Team and advertisers.

Keep it on brand

During my time with Magic City Weekend I gained experience concepting and executing engaging sponsored content that appealed to Magic City Weekend’s core audience and stayed true to the advertiser’s branding and goals.

Sponsored series

Expanding beyond individual sponsored videos, Magic City Weekend soon grew to feature several ongoing sponsored video series. Working with both the WBRC Sales Team and advertisers on the content of these series helped expand my experience with client relations beyond what I had learned from producing television commercials.

30 minute television special

One of the larger undertakings as Executive Producer of Magic City Weekend was to concept, write, shoot and edit a 30 minute BBQ special that would be featured online as well as air on WBRC FOX6. Producing a sponsored special of this scale gave me new insights into creating long-form sponsored content.

Making engaging sponsored content

Taking my knowledge and skills gained from years of producing commercials and expanding it by successfully executing several forms of sponsored content has given me new insights into helping clients achieve their goals.
